Lifeline

Senior citizens face challenges daily. OLBH's Healthy Community Services offers a home-emergency response unit that provides seniors help in an emergency with just the push of a button.

The service, known as Lifeline, gives individuals the confidence and freedom to live on their own. Whenever help is needed, one press of the lightweight, waterproof help button activates the small in -home unit.

With the Lifeline system, a small machine is connected to the telephone allowing the use of a remote control to signal for help in the event an emergency occurs. The hospital arranges for a call center to be notified to send help upon signaling.
