Community Faith in Action

Age or disability should not be inhibitors that cause us to leave our home and depend solely on others. Community Faith in Action understands the need for people to be in the comfort of their own homes and works to recruit volunteers to help with chores that may be just a bit much for some people.
The coalition is non-denominational and works to address the needs of the elderly, chronically ill and disabled in the FIVCO area. Volunteer caregivers from area congregations work together with program administrators to help fill the gap in services in the local community.
From light housekeeping and transportation services to shopping assistance and telephone reassurance, Community Faith in Action volunteers help those in need with many everyday activities so that independence is maintained for as long as possible.
